Jackie Mauer currently lives on Lake Atitlán and coordinates JUSTA’s educational, health, nutrition, and social entrepreneurship projects as Director of Programming. Jackie originally came to Guatemala to establish the Konojel Enrichment Program, fell in love with JUSTA, and decided to stay on full time. She holds a bachelors in second language teaching (French and English) and a professional masters in French and international development. Originally from Wisconsin, Jackie has lived in Sweden, France, Haiti, and Québec before finding a home in Guatemala.
