Description
The 64 Tetrahedron Grid is one of the most profound sacred geometric structures. It is a 3D version of the flower of life, and Metatron’s Cube, and I believe it is the structure of the timespace at the Planck’s distance, or quantum scale. It is the simplest structure which is both fractal and holographic, contains the seed geometry of form (StarTetrahedron) and of centered spiral motion (CubeOctahedron).
This structure was discovered by Buckminster Fuller. He called it the Isotropic Vector Matrix or IVM. He was searching for the most elementary and perfect geometry which would allow for balance between all points, between form and movement, structure and flow, etc. This geometry is created from 64 tetrahedrons perfectly interwoven with 14 octahedrons. More simply, it is a fractal iteration of a star tetrahedron, created by making a 2x2x2 star tetrahedron Start by placing two star tetrahedrons next to each other, then two more next to those to form a square. Finally four more are placed on top to form a 2x2x2 cube. A star tetrahedron cubed.
The negative space formed in the center is the Vector Equilibrium or cube octahedron, which is a very special sacred geometric form. It creates 4 planes on 60° angles instead of the typical 90° angles of the x,y,z axis. This is the only structure that has complete equilibrium in every direction. The central point radiates out in 12 vectors to touch the 12 points of each angle, and each vector is equidistant and equiangular. Perfection. The center of this geometry is what is known as the zero point, or the structure of the vacuum. The combination of the star tetrahedron and the cube octahedron create all necessary blueprints to be replicated out infinitely to create a higher order matrix that is both fractal and holographic, contains the symbolic geometry of form and movement in balance, and can be yours to have and to hold, to contemplate at your leisure as you unravel the mysteries of the universe.
